Living Space PDX was created in the spring of 2012. After
working in construction for most of his life, Asa Winant- owner saw a need for a builder who could solve problems with a multiple benefit approach. His background in drafting and his degree in physical Geography combined into a comprehensive idea of what individual houses were
challenged by. He has a love for the relationships between the homes, their owners and the environment. He has committed himself to customizing peoples homes to meet the needs of their families while solving the issues that arise in aging homes without enough space.
Over the last 12 years, Asa’s excitement over working on
Portland Homes and Lots has attracted a highly talented
group of builders and designers that also enjoy the challenge of customizing small spaces to meet larger needs of home owners. His creative positivity has helped established long standing relationships with City inspectors, Designers, and trade professionals.
